Why, Happy Period's Box ?

        For long, discussions about periods have been hushed and considered a taboo topic limited to only women and considered off-limits for men, even for close family members or partners.

        At Happy Periods Box, we believe that menstruation is to be celebrated. Our vision is to shift this crude perception. We want to create memories of receiving a beautiful, luxurious gift box filled with products like Dark chocolates, lavender oil, pain relievants etc to pamper and alleviate discomfort during menstruation, rather than associating it with memories of hiding sanitary pads in black plastic bags and days of pain.

         Each product in our box is carefully researched to help reduce period-related issues and improve the mood of the recipient. The overwhelmingly positive reviews we receive after each box is sold is proof that this is not just another gift box, but one that truly makes an impact and leaves a lasting impression. 

        Non-biodegradable Sanitary pad waste generated goes over 25000 tonnes a day. We promote Menstrual Cups as an alternative eco-friendly product that lasts 5-10 years to minimize carbon footprint. For those who are still hesitant to use menstrual cups, we have included biodegradable - low environmental impact & carbon footprint acrobat premium cotton Pads & Panty liners respectable brands like Evolve  & Lemme Be. 

      

I gifted this to my girlfriend and she said it's the best gift she has ever received ! And said she's going to proudly tell her father that her boyfriend gifted this. She put up a story ( The first time she & I are going public ) because she wanted to set examples for others, be it a boyfriend,  friend, father or son ! The inspiration for Happy Periods Box came from a personal experience when a friend reached out to me for help, because his best friend was suffering from severe period pain and he felt powerless to assist her. 

      In our society, men are often not included in conversations about menstruation and when they see their loved ones in pain and want to do something for them during their periods, they may feel unsure of how to show their care and support. 

      As someone who has personally struggled with debilitating period pain and has wished for a supportive partner to hold me and reassure me that everything will be alright, I realized the importance of creating a tool to help men show their loved ones they are there for them during their period's  & thus, Happy Periods Box was born. 

     When you gift our box, you are not only showing your loved one that you care about them and want to support them during their menstrual cycle, but you are also demonstrating that you understand the emotional and physical pain that can come with periods. By gifting our box, you are showing that you are sensitive to their needs and are willing to take an active role in helping them through this often challenging time.

•How do I add personal message to the card & send the spotify playlist ? 

During checkout you will be asked to enter the personal message & spotify playlist link. Alternatively you can send us the message in reply to the order confirmation email you will receive or directly to our business whatsapp no. given any time of your convenience. 

•What's the ethical & environmental stand of your brand? 

We choose each brand or product included in the box after researching for weeks, making sure it is ethically sourced, gives back the farmers their share, is biodegradable & cases minimal carbon footprint etc. We switched a no. of products from our first edition boxes to reduce plastic. We use zero plastic (like polythene bags or bubble wrap )in packaging even though the switch costed us our profit share. At this moment we have minimal plastic usage beyond which we can't reduce since we will have to raise the product price then, which many buyers won't be able to afford. To compensate this, we take responsibility of upcycling all the packaging products we use. Read " Join us in recycling" for details. 

•Do you ship worldwide ? 

Yes , we do ! But you have to contact us via whatsapp / email / Instagram to check the shipping costs & order directly as the costs will change with each country. 

•What are the brands included ? 

Each brand included is given in the content details under each box. 

•What's the shipping time ? Is it home delivered  ? 

Yes, it is home delivered by Indian post. In India you can select two shipping options during checkout. 

One is normal courier which will take around 4-5 days in south India & upto 8-9 days in North. 

Second is by Speed courier. It will take around 2-4 days in south India & upto 6 days in North. 

•Can I customise the box with contents not in the list? 

Yes, you can ! We have made customized boxes for our clients before & that adds an ever more personal touch to the box you sent to your loved one. Contact us for further details.
